The Tree

I bought new ornaments last year at the end of the season clearance sale. I love them! I love the colors! I do have to redecorate the tree all day everyday, but that is the fun of having a 16 month old!!

Thanksgiving weekend

Shawn worked from 6am and got home at 10:40pm.

He worked some of the swing shift as well as his shift!

So it was a long day with the kids!!!!!! I'm sure it was long day for Shawn as well! I made a turkey and some of the other things, we watched movies and I don't think my kids were very thankful for their crazy mom!

Thanksgiving weekend it snowed. We weren't ready for it, with everyone's clothes I mean.

So here are a couple pictures of Ireland in the snow not dressed for it but it worked! Also if you are wondering she was eating markers so that is what is on her mouth! Enjoy!

Daddy-Daughter Pinewood Derby

There was a mis hap with Riley's Car/Skateboard. It broke when Shawn was trying to put more weight in it! So they had to tape it. That happened 2 hours before the Derby! Riley's car didn't do well! So there were tears! Other than that it was a fun night! Better luck next year!

Things that make me happy today

Shawn is a really hard worker! He really loves his children and really tries to support me when I'm having one of those days! As many mom's have but so many cops wifes know!!

Garrett is so smart! He is so cute and is so good at so many things! Garrett has learned a lot of new things this year, like how to ride a bike, how to swing. These were things he was really scared to try and I think with his Autism maybe some of these things are hard. He is being tested right know for the gifted and talented progam. We will see what happens.


I asked Preston if we could do his hair as we were getting ready to go to Target. He said, "No all the people will say, "O O O O O O, I want a hawk like that, I want his hair and they will all wook at him and he doesn't want all the people wooking at him." He is so funny!

Ireland, we were laying down and I was starting to nurse her, and (Yes She is 16 mos. old) but it's hard to give up!!!! I started to sing, "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree" and I sang, I looked out the window and what did I see and Ireland said POP POP! She's so smart!!!

Riley is such a cool person! She is such a great helper at home with her brothers and sister. She is very sure of herself, with her hair and clothes, she is just a great person!!!

I have so much to be grateful for!!!

10/15/08 Riley and Garrett and the pumkin run at school

Riley and Garrett along with everyone else at school had to run the Pumpkin Run.

They set it up like a real race with water stations and you just had to drink and throw your cups down! Garrett was so excited to litter, like a week before he said, "GUESS WHAT WE GET TO LITTER!!!" Garrett did a month long run club to get ready. Riley had to run 1 mile and Garrett 1/2 mile. I put Ireland and Preston in a jogger stroller and ran and walked Garrett's and then for Riley's I held Ireland while Preston walked and I pushed the stroller! Funny how that happens! It was fun! The kids then got to pick out a pumpkin!
