Ireland's 2nd Birthday at Grandma's July 10th 2009

Since we were at Grandma's in Bakersfield, Ca. we planned a little party with family and friends, but little Lulu got sick. She had a fever so we cancelled the party and just her siblings and Grandma were there, but it was super fun. I can't believe she is 2. Ireland had a little personal ice cream for breakfast and then we opened presents. She received a crawling, talking baby from mommy and daddy. A Princess wooden puzzle from Preston, a Baby Einstein DVD from Garrett, and Riley gave her a super cute shirt that was green and white polka dot. Grandma gave her an outfit, cute yellow shirt with white shorts, so cute! My aunt Julie brought her over 2 books, and we totally enjoyed watching her re-enacting opening the bag with the gifts in it! She loves to re-enact. She wore her number 2 tank top that my mom and I tried to do. We really needed Shawn's help. She is a super sweet girl that we love so much. I am so thankful that I have had her in my life for the last 2 years!! What a blessing.

Summer fun 2009!!

At my Mom's house me, Ireland, my mom, Aunt Julie, and Aunt Marykay. Well with the bad came the fun! We saw a lot of family which was really nice. Here are some pictures from that. We were able to be there for my sister-in-law Pam's baby shower, the 4th of July and so many fun things that I don't get to do living so far away!

Many adventers of summer of 2009

So the kids and I drove to CA. to be with my mom and after Hassan died to go to the funeral. Well as we were driving to Ca I stoped in Richfield Utah to have the kids stretch and we got dinner. The kids were running from the car to a curb and Ireland fell It didn't seem like that bad of a fall but she started to dry heave and turn grey and she went limp in my arms. She didn't want to keep her eyes open so I had to call 911 and I didn't know where in Richfield I was but It was really hard for the 911 operater to tell were I was from what I was telling him. How many parks could be in Richfield? So they took her to the hosiptal in the Abulance. Riley went with Ireland and held her. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong with her. So they realesed her and told me to wait 12 to 24 hours before continuing to travel. In the mean time my aunt Marykay knew someone that knew someone that could give Ireland a blessing so two stake presidents showed up. In our church they are in charge of a large number of memebers of the church, so that was really neat. The nurse said when we walked back into the ER, how do I get some of the royal treatment or something like that. Then the stake presdent helped me find a hotel to stay in. Everyone new him so the guy at the hotel gave us a discount, sweet! Everyone in Richfield was so nice. Then again we were on our way to Grandma's house or mom to me!

June 19th a sad day!

The morning of June 19th I recieved a text from my brother Brendan that my Mom's husband Hassan had passed away. The world lost a kind man that day and my mom lost a lot that day, but I know that he must have been excited to see his

parents and grandparents again. I'm so happy that Hassan and my mom were able to have that time together. I'm thankful to how kind he was to my mom and how happy she was. I'm sorry that had to end for her. I don't know why it had to but I have faith there is a plan bigger then we know and I think how lucky Hassan was to have my mom. What a loving and caring women. Who better to take care of you! Until we meet again Hassan.
